"Michelangelo Pistoletto is an Italian artist whose work includes painting, sculpture, photography, screen printing, sculpture, installation, performance... Affiliated with Arte Povera, he is mainly known for his work with and around mirrors and reflective surfaces. Like one of his masterpieces, A cubic Meter of Infinity (1966): a cube measuring one meter on a side, made up of mirrors facing inwards. In 1998, Michelangelo Pistoletto created the art center of Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, in his hometown of Biella. In 2003, he received the Golden Lion for his entire body of work at the Venice Biennale. Currently, the work of Michelangelo Pistoletto is represented by the Simon Lee Gallery (London, Hong Kong, New York), the Leila Heller Gallery (New York, Dubai), the Galleria Continua (San Gimignano, Beijing, Les Moulins, Havana) , notably."
