"Studied at the Folkwang School of Design Essen (1970–1975), Wilhelm Lehmbruck scholarship Duisburg (1982–1983), three-month grant from the Ludwig Foundation for Art and International Understanding for a stay in Cuba (1993), three-month grant from the Research Institute for Inter-Culture for a stay in Seoul, South Korea (1997), working grant from the European Ceramic Work Center in Hertogenbosch, Netherlands (2002/2005), artist exchange and working grants from the Universidad El Bosque and the Universidad Nacionál de Colombia, both in Bogotá, Colombia (2015)."
