"Jacob F. Schokking (JFS) was born in Rotterdam in 1956.
He'd been to Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent from 1974 until 1978. He was a member of visual arts collective Værkstedet Værst in Copenhagen (1981 - 85). From 1981 to 1992, he made video installations and performance work. Since 1987, he's a director and set designer. He's been the artistic director of the production platform Holland House in Copenhagen (1988 - 2018). He's made freelance stage work & visual arts projects since 2019."
