He studied painting at the Lisbon School of Fine Arts and later delved into cinema, studying at the London Film School. Noronha da Costa's artistic style is characterized by a unique blend of abstraction and figuration, often incorporating a subtle interplay of light and shadow, which has been described as "metaphysical realism." His work has been exhibited widely in Portugal and internationally, earning him recognition as one of the leading figures in the Portuguese art scene.
