Le plein d'plumes

Description

Le plein d'plumes (1980) by Michel Jaffrenou is a video sculpture composed of 4 monitors whose screens are synchronized to give the illusion that Patrick Bousquet is filling the screens with feathers. Additional Informations

On the exhibition poster for Plein d'plumes at the Paris Biennale (from 09/20 to 11/04/1980) it is written: "1, 2, 3, 4 are video monitors. A, the character , throws a feather at 1. It crosses 2, 3 and 4 and ends its fall at 4. A throws another feather, then others until the refueling is done in the four monitors. When the refueling is done the sculpture empties and starts again. Music: Bolero for gallinaceous birds" (Source, website, Gallica BnF).

The whole measures 2.70 meters.
