"Exploring the relationship between the individual, society and the television medium, the artist delivers a close-up performance in this video: using large scissors, she cuts holes in the black stocking that covers her face and "covers" each new gap with an extract from the television program History of Yugoslavia. The act of revealing one's face and "liberating" one's personal identity presents itself as a worried testimony to the impact of stereotypes on individuals conveyed by television images."
