"TRANSIGENT, a work from the year 1983, is puristic in the use of means. It it shot in a single take. Black shapes looking like iron fillings move across the screen, sometimes seem repel, then to attract each other, leaving traces. Additionally Lux manually intervenes by accentuating the planes with pencil hatchings. (Heiko Daxl, 1994)" (Source, website, Vimeo)

"On a wooden board rubbed rough, a magnet behind the wooden board moves metal slivers. The viewer only sees the dancing motions of the slivers, which recall living beings. Lux separates these symbolic creatures from one another, first with a curving line, then by hatching out the "forbidden territory", and finally with a straight line. The continuously moving creatures, separated from one another, search for meeting points, like families and friends who have been separated by the artificial borders established in the course of the 20th century. (Evelin Páll)". (Source, website, C3)
