“As for the paper umbrella, it evokes spring and grows among the crocuses. In good weather, it is in full bloom. She shivers and closes up as evening falls because she is afraid of the bright moon. When it rains, it curls up and shrinks. In strong winds, it can be seen lifting itself up and moving away, cavorting in front of the first floor windows. When calm returns, it slowly descends from the sky like a parachute towards its point of origin, which is also its landing place. The sense of orientation of paper umbrellas is a big question. Some scientists hope to explain it through the observation of homing pigeons, the North Star and bats.”(Source : Jean-Michel Botquin)
