Description

"In terms of proportions, Maurer creates musical lines from her own proportions as a field of action by marking a long, white strip of paper with the length of her body, then dividing it into four and drawing this etalon over a long distance on the unrolled strip of paper. The 'notes', or the elements of the event, form the repeated movements with which Maurer compares the size of her palm, elbows, feet, etc. on the etalon.
