Description
"A Chinese game made up of 5 cylinders of woven straw into which the fingers of both hands are inserted. You have to try to free yourself from them without breaking them. The action seen on the first monitor is pre-recorded (closed circuit). It is repeated according to this model in front of the screen itself (open circuit) at the same time as filmed and retransmitted on a second monitor: open/closed trap circuit.
Performance performed in public in October 1974 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, in Lausanne, for the exhibition "ART VIDEO ART"."
