"Camera: J. Scheurer, Crissier, VD, Switzerland. In the first part, this strip is an attempt to graphically fix a cast shadow. To visualize a duration, using a spray of black paint, I proceed to marking of a shadow, in the present, and to that, anticipated, of the shadow to come. The chosen theme is that of the menhir. In the second part, it is about the plastic destruction of my own shadow in the "using black paint, then synthetic "sand". In terms of television language, it is above all the use of the pictorial possibilities of the values (range from black to white) of the video." (Source, artist's website)
